Bio

Coming from the small town of Collirene, Alabama, Clutch Ball says he never imagined he’d be donning the Globetrotters’ famous red, white and blue uniform. “Being part of this iconic team means the world to me. I feel so lucky to be part of this organization, because not everyone gets this incredible opportunity.”

Clutch is known for his leaping ability and jaw-dropping dunks, which earned him a big win at ESPN’s “City Slam” during the summer of 2016.

He first started pursuing basketball in the ninth grade when he made the varsity team without ever having played the sport. Within a few years he began raking in accolades some athletes only dream of. In his senior year of high school, he was named a 2nd Team Alabama Sports Writers Association (ASWA) All-State selection, Clutch also went on to win the National High School Slam Dunk Contest in Houston (2011).

At Shelton State Community College (Ala.), he led his team to the 2013 ACCC Championship and the NJCAA Tournament. He then went on to play at West Texas A&M University where he recorded 472 rebounds, 66 assists, 64 blocks and 26 steals in two seasons. With the Buffaloes, he was named to the LSC All-Defensive team twice and was the 2015 State Farm Dark Horse Dunker at the historic Hinkle Fieldhouse during Final Four weekend in Indianapolis

If he weren’t playing for the Harlem Globetrotters, he would see himself coaching a youth basketball team. During his spare time, Clutch enjoys playing video games and hanging out with friends. The 6-foot-3 forward is a great tumbler, enjoys listening to pop music and is a huge Katy Perry fan.
